Important Info: 6-12 Time Trials
Hi Barracudas,
Reminder: The Bethesda Barracudas Time Trials are this Saturday 6-12 at 7:30am at the Bethesda Pool. The deadline to sign your swimmer up is tonight (6/9) at 9PM. Please go to www.bebarracudas.org/swim_meets to sign up. Swimmers will not be able to swim on Saturday if they are not signed up by the tonight’s deadline (no exceptions).
We will take a team photo immediately before the start of the meet so, please be at the pool by 7:30am this Saturday. At that time, we will hand out a t-shirt for swimmers to wear for the photo.
We will not have a traditional concession stand, we will sell drinks only, please bring your own snacks.
We still need parent volunteers for this meet – please sign up!

PARENTS PLEASE READ: Due to COVID19 we have implemented Safety Protocols for this season, please review below – full document can be found on our website
- Please have your athlete arrive in their swimsuits & shower at home, our locker rooms are small, and use should be minimized.
- Before entering the pool, please make sure you do not have any of the following:
- Temperature of 100.4 or above in the 24 hours before the event
- Any symptoms associated with COVID-19: fever or chills, cough, difficulty breathing, fatigue, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion/runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
- Positive COVID test within the last 10 days
- Are unvaccinated and have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Mask Requirements & Recommendations
- We do not require masks for vaccinated individuals.
- We strongly encourage people who are not vaccinated (including young children) to wear a mask. For masked swimmers please send your swimmer to their lane with a ziploc bag (with name on it) to keep their mask in while they swim. We will also have bags available at Clerk of Course area.
Spectators
- Spectators are permitted at the pool, to manage crowds we ask that you limit the number of guests that you bring with you.
- Family members and spectators need to avoid areas specified as Athlete Areas, Clerk of Course area and Automation Area. As well as Referee & Starter, coaching and announcer areas.
- We ask that spectators and family members not enter the pools deck (competition area) and remain in the grassy area
- A Safety Marshall (in yellow vest) will be on deck to assist.
