Please be at the Bethesda pool by 7:30am. See below for important details. Who is swimming? Coach Malka will send out a lineup of who qualifies to swim this Saturday. Swimming at A meets is highly prized, so if you confirmed but later find that you (your swimmer) can’t attend, please notify Coach Malka ((240) 461-1768 or [email protected]) immediately so that we can give another swimmer the opportunity to swim at the meet. Location: Bethesda Pool: 6300 Little Falls Pkwy, Bethesda, MD 20816. Driving directions. Parking: Please use the parking lot adjacent to the pool. Overflow parking is located @ Little Falls Pkwy and Arlington Road. BE Team Seating Area: Our team will sit in the grassy area closest to the diving boards and slides. The visiting team will sit in the portion of the grassy area along the fence closest to the Crescent Trail (+ the bleachers), so please don’t sit in that area. There is little shade, so bring tents. What to bring to the meet: See here Programs: We will email programs to you Friday night to circulate to your team. We also will have programs at the meet to give to officials & reps and to sell, and will try to have a running display of the meet via Meet Mobile. IMPORTANT TIMES Bethesda Barracuda warm ups - 5:15pm – 5:45pm Officials Meeting – 5:15pm Timers Meeting – 5:30pm The meet will begin at 6:00pm DRESS-UP THEME: Hawaiian Luau. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Parents are greatly needed and required to volunteer in order for meets to be successful!! PARENTS, please sign up by clicking on the green "Sign Up for jobs" button above. No Experience required!!! On the job training!! Many thanks for volunteering!. FOOD Our Concession stand will sell Don Pollo Chicken and pizza for dinner. Our concession stand is a significant fund raiser for our team. Food and drink donations are being requested so that they can be sold at the concession stand. They are at the corner of Kings Crossing & Broken Timber. Start: 7:45 AM Warm-up: 7:45 AM Barracudas, We're looking forward to our first A-Meet of the season against Woodcliffe (WCL). TIME: Please be at the WCL pool by 7:45am so we can take attendance, parade in together, & get situated in our team area. For those who want to caravan to the pool, the caravan will leave Bethesda's pool @ 7:15am sharp! Officials' Meeting at 0820 Timer Meeting at 0830 Scratch Meeting at 0845 LOCATION Address: Woodcliffe Pool (18501 Broken Timber Way, Boyds, MD 20841). They are at the corner of Kings Crossing & Broken Timber. Driving Directions: Parking: There is parking next to the clubhouse. Please DO NOT park in marked spaces next to the condo building - you may get towed. There is additional parking at Kings Crossing Park near the playground and baseball field. IMPORTANT TIMES WCL Warm-up: 745am - 8:15am BE Warm-up: 8:20am - 8:45am Meet Start Time: 9am BETHESDA TEAM SEATING AREA Our team area is located in the grassy area past the competition pool to the right, directly beyond the rec pool. If you have tents, please bring them since there is not a lot of shade at the pool. DRESS UP THEME: Hawaiian Luau. We will bring extra leis and skirts to share. FOOD: WCL's concession stand will be selling food and drinks. MEET PROGRAMS WCL will not sell programs at the meet, but will send them to us Friday night to distribute to our team.
