Sign Up for next B-Meet Wednesday 7-10 at 5:00pm @ Merrimack Pool

We look forward to our 3^rd B-Meet of the season against Merrimack at their pool this coming Wednesday, 7-10 at 5:00pm.

Weekly "B" meets give swimmers an opportunity to post times which may qualify them to swim in the next A-Meet – and apply the skills they have learned in practice and compete against other teams, even though they may not qualify for participation in an A-Meet.

Please sign up for the meet by 9pm on Monday, 7-8. As a reminder, there are NO entries for B-meets after Monday night.

Please be at Merrimack pool by 5:00pm. When you arrive, swimmers check in with your coaches!

Location: 6400 Pyle Road, Bethesda MD 301.229.6579; Directions can be hard to find on GPS, best DIRECTIONS are on the Merrimack website

Parking: Large lot and ample street parking; please be courteous to neighbors

Important Times:

Merrimack Warm-up: 5:00pm – 5:25pm

BE Warm-up: 5:25pm – 5:50pm

Officials' Meeting: 5:30pm

Timer /Officials Meeting: 5:40pm

Meet Start Time: 6:00pm

Sign Up: Swimmers may sign up for 3 events + IM; If you swam a stroke in Saturday’s A-Meet, you may not swim that same stroke at the following Wednesday B-Meet.

Food: The concession stand will be open; serving burgers, hot dogs, snacks and drinks. Cash and credit are accepted

Weather: Thunderstorms are always a possibility on summer evenings; Upon hearing the first roll of thunder there will be a 30-minute delay. Subsequent thunder resets the clock for another 30 min, with a maximum overall wait of 45 minutes. Unfortunately, at Merrimack, waiting locations are limited. Swimmers and families must vacate the pool facilities and deck. Swimmers should wait in the parking lot or in their vehicles.
