Hi Barracudas,

Thanks everyone for a fun banquet last night and a great season this summer. We hope everyone had lots of fun, learned lots about swimming and teamship, and will join us again next summer. If you have friends who don't already belong to a summer team, please invite them to join us next summer. We'd love to have them!

We started this summer as the 4th seeded team in Division A (and among the 90 teams in the Montgomery County Swim League), and we finished in 4th place this season. Great swimming everyone!  Next summer, we will be the 6th seeded team in Division A (and among MCSL's 90 teams) as two teams from this year's Division B - Country Glen and Woodcliffe - are predicted to finish just ahead of us in 2019.

Many of you asked how your kids can continue to swim during the school year. There are many excellent year-around swim clubs in the Bethesda area, including All Star Aquatics (ASA), Joe Flaherty's Dolphins, Lowell Community Lionfish, Nation's Capital Swim Club (NCAP), Rockville Montgomery Swim Club (RMSC), Sea Devils Swimming (SDS), and Tollefson Swimming. Here is a link to the USA Swimming site where you can put in your zip code to find year-around swim clubs near you.

Last, we need 5-6 parents next year to serve as team representatives to help organize Saturday and Wednesday meets. Many of the current team representatives have kids who soon will graduate from the team, so we need to train parents of younger kids to help the team to continue to grow.  Please contact one of the reps listed below if you can serve as a team rep.
